I have had a busy private studio in Kitsilano teaching Speech & Drama, Presentation Skills and Writing to children and teens (and sometimes adults) for over twenty years. Parents choose me for a variety of reasons: to increase their child’s confidence, to study theatre, to enrich the school English curriculum, to find their child's authentic voice. In all cases, I invite the children to discover and express their unique selves.

(Please note that in September 2018 I will be reducing my practice in order to pursue my writing projects. Teaching is an integral and essential part of my life, though, and I will be accepting one or two students this year after an interview with parents and prospective students).

I have students who have received Honours at competitive festivals, Distinction in Trinity Guildhall examinations, Honourable Mentions in writing competitions, and many who perform and write for the pure enjoyment of it.

I help students with school admission interviews as well as prepare them for university applications (interviews, creative writing and SAT essay writing).
